What is CC and BCC? The effect of these two features CC and BCC when sending email with any email service like Gmail, Hotmail / Outlook.
When composing new emails, many of you are not curious with the CC button and BCC right input email recipient. So what function do they have?
What is CC?
CC stands for Carbon Copy.
What is BCC?
BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy.
Tips: On Gmail, the keyboard shortcut for CC is Ctrl + Shift + C and BBC is Ctrl + Shift + B [/ box].
What is the function of CC and BCC?
Both CC and BCC are meant to help you send email to multiple people at the same time.
The difference is that recipients added to CC can see the list of email addresses that receive the same message and BCC does not.
When to use CC, when should use BCC?
Use the CC feature when you are not concerned about the recipient being aware that you send the message to many people.
Use the BCC feature when you do not want the recipient to know you send that message to multiple people.
