10 things to do if your Hotmail account is hacked

In the previous posts I have shared with you how to sign Hotmail and today I go back to share with you a 10 things to do when your Hotmail account is hit.
Just follow these steps:
1 You must change your password
2 Check Your Confidential Information
Check your account recovery email and phone number on the Security Settings page, https://account.live.com/Proofs/Manage, and verify that they are unchanged.
3 Replacement Code Recovery
Microsoft provides a recovery code to use in case you lose confidential information (and they recommend that you print and save this code as a hard cover).
To replace the code, scroll down to the recovery code on the Security Settings page.
There, click Replace the recovery code to get the new code. We recommend following Microsoft's advice and printing it.
4 Remove all trusted devices associated with your Microsoft / Hotmail account
When you use a trusted device, you do not need to enter a password to access your account.
To ensure that hackers have not set up such a device, on the Privacy Settings page, go to Trusted devices and click Delete all trusted devices associated with my account. .
5 Change the Warning Settings
We recommend that you verify that the alert has been enabled by clicking Change alert option on the Privacy Settings page and be sure to select the checkbox next to your mobile phone number.
6 Examine the session
Visit https://account.live.com/Activity to check which devices are currently signed in to your account. You may be asked to provide a one-time password, and will be sent to the mobile phone in a text message.
7 Check Microsoft Account Activity / Hotmail
Access your Outlook account and check Sent Items and Trash to ensure that hackers did not impersonate you and email to your contacts.
8 Check your Other Account
If you are using the same password for other sites, change it on these services right away.
9 Run the antivirus program on your computer
